Your Role And Responsibilities
This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, configuration, and support of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS). The position involves managing system environments, optimizing performance, and supporting business users with technical and functional needs. It also requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and adherence to security and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with MAS administration, integrations, and system maintenance.
- System Administration and Configuration: Oversee the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of MAS environments, including user access, security roles, and system parameters. Handle MAS installations, upgrades, fix packs, and overall environment configuration. Build and customize applications, workflows, automation scripts, and scheduled tasks within MAS
- System Monitoring and User Support: Track system performance, uptime, and logs to ensure reliable and efficient operations. Provide technical and functional support to business users by diagnosing and resolving issues
- Integrations and Cross‑Team Collaboration: Manage integrations through the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), APIs, and other connected platforms. Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and database teams to sustain a secure and healthy MAS ecosystem
- Governance and Compliance: Maintain documentation, configuration guidelines, and operational procedures. Ensure adherence to security requirements, audit standards, and organizational compliance policies

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- MAS Administration and Configuration: Hands‑on experience administering Maximo or MAS environments. Experience with security setup, workflows, application designer, and automation scripts. Ability to manage cron tasks, logs, and performance monitoring
- Technical Architecture and Infrastructure: Strong understanding of MAS architecture, including OpenShift‑based deployments, MongoDB, and suite components. Experience working with Linux/Unix systems Integrations and Data Management. Familiarity with the Maximo Integration Framework for data loads and integrations. Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
- Problem Solving and Technical Support: Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience specifically with MAS 8, including deployment, tuning, and upgrade processes
- Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Experience with reporting tools such as BIRT or Cognos
- Understanding of high‑availability, clustering, and performance optimization
- Exposure to industry add‑ons (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Spatial)
- Certifications in Maximo, MAS administration, OpenShift, or cloud technologies
