The Role
- Provide subject matter expertise in back-end software development activities
- Apply analytical skills to process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition
- Design and develop back-end architectures supporting system capabilities and integrations
- Develop and modify RESTful APIs for application functionality
- Perform database management, data modeling, and optimization
- Support testing and validation to ensure system operability and compliance
What You'll Need
- Active Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages
- Ability to apply various tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices, and containers
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira) and testing web-based applications
- Experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, RedHat Linux, Jenkins, and GitLab
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment
