The Section Officer Production is responsible for overseeing the operations of a specific production section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role acts as a bridge between production staff and management, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities within the assigned production section
- Ensure production targets are met according to schedule
- Maintain product quality and adherence to company standards
- Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
- Guide and mentor production staff, providing on-the-job coaching
- Assist in manpower allocation and scheduling for optimal efficiency
- Document production output, incidents, and operational reports
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to management
- Coordinate with other departments (QA, Maintenance, Warehouse) for seamless operations
- Address operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field preferred
- At least 13 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of production processes, food safety, and quality standards
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting schedule environment
