Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your day will be filled with dynamic problem-solving, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the smooth operation of software applications. You will play a vital role in maintaining system integrity and enhancing user experience through effective support and troubleshooting. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Document issues and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team. - Assist in the development and implementation of new software features. - Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies. - Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software applications. - Familiarity with database management and data manipulation techniques. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office.
