What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- 5 to 6 years of professional full stack development experience
- Demonstrated track record delivering production-grade enterprise applications independently
- Proven hands-on experience across the full Microsoft Azure and .NET stack
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or field services industries is advantageous but not required
Technologies
- Backend: C#, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, REST API design
- Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, responsive UI development
- Database: Azure SQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, query optimisation, schema design
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, APIM, Web Apps, Azure SQL, Storage Account)
- DevOps: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
- Security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, ASP.Net Identity, Identity Server, Burp Suite
- Architecture: Architecture SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Microservices, HL7/FHIR (advantageous)
- Analytics: Analytics Power BI, Azure DevOps Dashboards, Zoho Analytics (advantageous)
What will you do?
Hands-On Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core and React.js with TypeScript
- Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Work with Entity Framework Core, Azure SQL, and MSSQL to build performant data access layers
- Implement reusable components and shared libraries that meet enterprise coding standards
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, from technical design through to tested, deployed code
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code applying SOLID principles and Clean Architecture patterns
Cloud and DevOps
- Build and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIM, Web Apps, and Azure SQL
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Work with containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Participate in cloud cost optimisation and infrastructure reliability improvements
Security and Identity
- Implement secure authentication and authorisation using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and RBAC
- Apply identity management patterns using ASP.Net Identity and Identity Server
- -Conduct vulnerability testing including SQL injection checks, authentication flaw remediation, and secrets scanning
- Participate in penetration testing activities and support security remediation using tools such as Burp Suite
Quality and Testing
- Write and maintain automated test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
- Use testing tools including xUnit, Playwright, Enzyme, LambdaTest, and Selenium
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards
- Support continuous improvement of release confidence and deployment reliability
Integration and Data
- Develop integrations between enterprise platforms using REST APIs and Azure integration services
- Support reporting and analytics outcomes using Power BI and Azure DevOps Dashboards
- Design and optimise relational database schemas and queries for performance and data integrity
