Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dimsum dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure the quality, freshness, taste, and presentation of all dimsum products.
Supervise the preparation and portioning of ingredients.
Monitor food quality and consistency during production and service.
Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Manage inventory of ingredients and coordinate stock requirements with the kitchen or procurement team.
Train and guide kitchen staff on proper dimsum preparation techniques.
Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained.
Minimize food waste and control production costs.
Assist in developing new dimsum products and improving existing recipes.
Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dimsum Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Knowledge of traditional and modern dimsum preparation techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and team management skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
