Supervising and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making
Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
Overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes, and liaising with external auditors
Leading and developing a high-performing finance and accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and implementing efficient systems and controls
Serving as a strategic business partner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall objectives of the organization
What we're looking for;
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial organization
Proven track record of leading a finance and accounting team, with strong people management skills
Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices, as well as relevant tax and regulatory requirements
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Proficient in the use of financial management software and data analysis tools.
