PROGRAM MANAGER - WIRING
SOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERS
As a member of the Program Management team, the Program Manager will be responsible for:
The Role
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Program Execution - Drive the cross functional team to accomplish product launch while utilizing Lear Program Management Process and disciplines
- Run regular meetings with
- Key Customer Liasons
- Sales
- Purchasing
- Lead Unit Engineering
- Plant Product Engineering
- Plant Quality
- Drive Accountability to the APQP process to assure the program launches with quality
- Responsible to assure program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear hurdle rates and corporate commitments
- Run Management Gate Reviews in LearPro
- Create Program Deliverable Timelines based on customer milestones
- Be the face of Lear to the customer
- Will report to Platform Director or specific OEM Customer Lead (Platform Manager)
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
- At least 5 years of automotive experience and firm grasp of APQP principles
- Working knowledge of program and operational finance
- Proven record of managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizations
- Ability to travel domestically, with occasional international
