Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a PhD Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) to work on a contractual basis. This person will be responsible for applying their expertise in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering to contribute to innovative projects and solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex problems and develop creative solutions that can make a significant impact in their field.
Key Responsibilities:
• The PhD Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new systems and technologies that require expertise in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
• The PhD Engineer will conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in their field and apply that knowledge to their work.
• The candidate will be responsible for communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and presenting their findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• The PhD Engineer will develop and maintain detailed documentation of their work, including design documents, test plans, and results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• The successful candidate will have a PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, with a strong academic record and a proven track record of research and development experience.
• The candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of their discipline.
• The PhD Engineer will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• The candidate will have experience with research and development, including the design, development, and testing of new systems and technologies.
• The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
