Role Overview


This role owns pricing execution, demand planning, and performance insights across the catalog. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure pricing is competitive, inventory supports demand, and performance trends are identified early.

This is a highly analytical role with direct impact on revenue, margin, and conversion.

Pricing & Margin Optimization (Core Focus)

  • Own pricing updates across the catalog
  • Maintain and improve pricing models (markup curves, competitive positioning)
  • Monitor competitor pricing and recommend adjustments to improve conversion and margin
  • Identify pricing opportunities and risks across categories


Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Build and maintain demand forecasts across key product categories
  • Identify trends and shifts in demand to inform vendor planning
  • Highlight inventory gaps and risks based on forecast vs supply


Vendor Coordination

  • Partner with vendors to align inventory availability with demand
  • Communicate pricing updates, forecast changes, and performance insights
  • Support consistency and accuracy across vendor feeds


Reporting & Insights

  • Own weekly sales and performance reporting
  • Analyze conversion, pricing performance, and product trends
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership


Execution & Data Integrity

  • Ensure accuracy across pricing, product data, and reporting
  • Support key initiatives (e.g., preset rings, new categories, pricing standardization)
  • Identify and resolve data or process issues impacting performance


Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in retail merchandising, merchandise planning, pricing, or analytics
  • Strong understanding of core retail concepts (pricing, margin, sell-through, inventory planning)
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (SQL a plus)
  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
