We are seeking a committed and detail-focused Veterinarian to manage animal health and welfare, perform diagnostic and preventive care, and contribute to overall farm productivity. This role involves regular monitoring of livestock, providing medical treatment, conducting field and laboratory evaluations, and ensuring adherence to animal health and welfare standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections to assess the health status of animals.
- Quickly identify, treat, and manage sick animals to prevent further complications.
- Diagnose illnesses or abnormalities through physical examination and behavioral observation, and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications based on clinical findings.
- Carry out routine, emergency, and post-mortem (necropsy) procedures to support accurate diagnosis.
- Collect and prepare samples (e.g., blood, serum, tissues, water, feed, intestinal contents) for laboratory testing.
- Perform epidemiological analysis of disease outbreaks, transmission patterns, and seasonal trends to implement preventive measures.
- Track and analyze mortality and morbidity rates within assigned areas.
- Supervise vaccination programs in line with established protocols.
- Ensure animals receive proper nutrition and access to clean water.
- Uphold and promote animal welfare policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
- Veterinary license is an advantage.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience preferred; however, newly licensed veterinarians are welcome to apply.
- Must be willing to stay on-site in Taysan, Batangas.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
