Job Description
To support the delivery of civil and infrastructure projects in Singapore by assisting in design, analysis, and also provide CAD support in compliance with LTA, BCA, PUB and other statutory requirements, while developing core engineering competencies under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in engineering design and analysis for roads, highways, drainage, utilities and general infrastructure works.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Ensure designs comply with Singapore codes and standards (LTA, BCA, PUB, SCDF where applicable).
- Support multidisciplinary coordination with structural, geotechnical, traffic and architectural teams.
- Assist in preparation of Authority or Stakeholders’ submissions (e.g., DC/BP, technical reports, authority submissions).
- Attend design meetings and support project delivery milestones.
- Undertake site visits and assist in technical supervision when required.
- Adhere to company QA/QC procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
HSEQ Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) objectives.
- Contribute to safety discussions, including safety moments and briefings.
- Support implementation of risk assessments (RA) and safe work procedures.
- Proactively identify and report unsafe acts and conditions to improve workplace safety culture.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged).
- Eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Singapore standards and authorities (e.g., LTA, BCA, PUB).
