As an AI Trainer, you'll use your deep technical expertise to challenge, evaluate, and improve how advanced language models reason through complex engineering problems.

What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced mechanical engineering problems spanning FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, material science, and mechatronics to stress-test AI reasoning
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications for accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards like ASME and ISO
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect force distributions or energy conservation violations, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance
- Document Failure Modes — Systematically record where and how AI reasoning breaks down so research teams can harden model capabilities
Who You Are
- Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational expertise in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, CAD/CAM, thermodynamics, or manufacturing processes
- Able to communicate complex physical phenomena and technical derivations clearly in writing
- Highly precise — you catch errors in mathematical derivations, unit conversions, and physical system constraints
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently on a flexible schedule
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or quality assurance workflows
- Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ANSYS
- Familiarity with how large language models reason or are trained
