Primary Skills
- Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape
- Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set
- Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault
- Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.
- Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
- Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration
- Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models
- Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022)
- Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting. Secondary Skills:
- Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure
- On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure
- Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell script
- Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools
- Conforming to client compliances and expectations Certifications (Good to have)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate
- DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions
- AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions Soft Skills:
