As our Software Engineer, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes:
Building end-to-end solutions across a variety of channels (including internal tools, APIs, SDKs, apps and customer-facing portals).
Utilising industry best practices and leveraging the latest technologies where possible
Automating business processes so our staff can focus on the really important stuff
Engaging with stakeholders in all stages of the software development life cycle
Solving interesting performance and architectural challenges
Writing clean, maintainable code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards
Working on special projects as directed by the Software Engineering Manager
Participating in sprints/iterations

Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant industry experience
3+ years commercial software development experience
Good understanding of web technologies (HTML5/ CSS3/ JavaScript)
Good knowledge of databases, including schema design & query optimisation
Experience with creating and consuming modern APIs
VCS (git) experience
Outstanding personal organisation and time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding writing skills
Ability to think innovatively and challenge existing norms to change the game
Experience crafting and maintaining software with a test driven approach that is maintainable and conforms to standards and software development best practices.
A willingness to explore and experiment with new software and/or languages to provide solutions
A strong desire to guide and support others to achieve their goals
An understanding of the telco industry
The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Test Driven Design experience highly regarded
Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum methodology
Ability to design and implement complex software solutions
