Position Summary:- We are seeking an experienced professional to manage application operations, production support, incident management, and stakeholder coordination. The role focuses on ensuring application reliability, resolving production issues, improving operational efficiency, and collaborating with global teams to deliver stable and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities:- - Monitor application health, performance, availability, and production environments.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate permanent fixes.
- Lead incident management, including communication, escalation, tracking, and resolution.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, SRE, and support teams to resolve issues.
- Support release management, change management, deployments, and post-release stabilization.
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and support documentation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to prioritize and resolve critical issues.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency.
- Drive reliability, observability, and continuous operational improvements.
Required Skills:- - Strong production/application support and incident management experience.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem management.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Knowledge of release management, change management, and application operations.
- Experience with automation and operational process improvements.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications (eCommerce/POS experience is an advantage).
Requirements:- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Application Support, Production Support, or similar operational roles.
- Experience supporting business-critical production applications.
- Ability to independently manage high-priority production incidents in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and ITIL-based operational environments is preferred.
