Your Role And Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to support containerized application delivery.
- Implement cluster monitoring, logging, scaling, backup, and security controls.
- Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application‑level issues.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, secure, and performant container platforms.
- Optimize cluster configuration, resource usage, and lifecycle management.
- Create and maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
- Provide guidance, best practices, and support to development teams adopting OpenShift

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Strong hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency with Linux administration and containerization tools (Docker or Podman).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or Tekton.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot OpenShift networking, ingress, routes, and service mesh components.
- Strong knowledge of automation using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or equivalent).
- Understanding of security concepts: RBAC, OAuth, secrets management, pod security, and image scanning.
- Ability to diagnose cluster issues and performance bottlenecks.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Red Hat OpenShift certifications (e.g., EX280, EX288, EX480).
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or OpenShift Service Mesh.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS) and their managed Kubernetes services.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies, especially Argo CD or Flux.
- Knowledge of operators and operator‑based application lifecycle management.
- Background in SRE practices, reliability engineering, and observability frameworks.
- Experience implementing multi‑cluster, multi‑tenant, or edge OpenShift architectures.
