Role: Senior NOC Agent Dish Network
Work Arrangement: Work from Office
Location: Philippines - Ortigas/Cebu
Schedule: Night shift
Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor television and network services to identify and respond to service issues
- Respond promptly to alerts and incidents, following established procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and network configurations within the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or network engineers as needed
- Adhere to a rotating shift schedule to ensure 24/7 network operations coverage
- Troubleshoot signal and connectivity problems affecting headend equipment, set-top boxes (STBs), and television endpoints
- Provide remote support to field technicians during service calls, installations, and outage restoration activities
Qualifications and requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a NOC, technical support, telecommunications, networking, or related environment
- Bachelor’s degree diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or related education are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with networking equipment such as Ruckus, Aruba, or Meraki switches and wireless access points is preferred
- Knowledge of wireless networking, including 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz RF technologies and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, is preferred
- CompTIA Network+ (Net+) certification is a plus
- Meraki ECMS certification is a plus
Non-negotiable skills and requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a NOC, technical support, telecommunications, networking, or related environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
