Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 am - 6 pm PH time)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated ability to self-teach technical products — you figure things out from documentation, logs, and trial and error
  • Strong log analysis and troubleshooting instincts — you can read an error trace form a hypothesis, and test it
  • Hands-on familiarity with Windows Server environments, including services, permissions, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of SSH/SFTP protocols and common authentication failure patterns (key format mismatches, algorithm negotiation, error codes)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory authentication concepts — enough to diagnose logon failures and credential configuration issues
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft integrations including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Graph — particularly around OAuth, modern authentication, and API connectivity issues
  • Clear written and verbal communication — both customer-facing and internal
  • Comfortable operating independently on overnight hours with asynchronous backup from other support team members

Preferred

  • Experience reading and interpreting application or service logs as a primary diagnostic tool
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and common execution failure patterns
  • Understanding of Windows authentication protocols (Kerberos, SPN/UPN, WCF bindings)
  • Background in enterprise software or infrastructure support

What will you do?

  • Own incoming VisualCron support cases during overnight hours, from first response through resolution or escalation to Engineering
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a technically varied case mix: SSH/SFTP connection and authentication failures, Windows AD logon issues, job trigger problems, PowerShell task errors, service crashes, and Web API failures
  • Read and interpret VisualCron server logs and connection traces to identify root cause before engaging customers or Engineering
  • Write clear, accurate case documentation and customer-facing communications — your notes need to stand on their own when the day shift picks up
  • Reference internal knowledge base documentation and apply it independently to resolve recurring issue patterns
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding information and keep cases moving
