We are seeking a Workforce Analytics Manager to lead the development of workforce reporting, analytics frameworks, and executive dashboards that provide leadership with actionable insights into organizational trends, workforce utilization, and capacity planning.

Role Summary

As the Workforce Analytics Manager, you will serve as the firm's central resource for workforce analytics, operational reporting, and business intelligence. This role is responsible for transforming workforce and operational data into meaningful insights that support executive decision-making, workforce planning, and continuous business improvement.

Working closely with department leaders and executive leadership, you will develop reporting frameworks, analyze workforce trends, identify utilization patterns, evaluate workforce performance measures, and provide data-driven recommendations that support organizational objectives, workforce planning, and the continuous refinement of operational metrics and reporting practices.

The role serves as a trusted business partner through analytics and reporting, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into workforce performance, operational trends, organizational capacity, and opportunities to enhance workforce measurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Analytics

  • Design and maintain workforce reporting frameworks utilizing Time Doctor, Looker Studio, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze workforce trends, utilization rates, capacity levels, and organizational performance across departments.
  • Develop executive dashboards, workforce scorecards, and reporting solutions that provide meaningful operational visibility.
  • Translate workforce data into actionable insights and business recommendations for leadership.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting packages that provide visibility into key workforce and operational metrics.
  • Monitor trends related to workforce utilization, attendance, staffing capacity, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for executive leadership.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms and business intelligence tools.

Workforce Planning & Forecasting

  • Support workforce planning initiatives through capacity modeling and staffing forecasts.
  • Analyze historical workforce data to identify trends, risks, and future resource requirements.
  • Partner with department leaders to evaluate staffing needs and workforce planning assumptions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support organizational planning and sustainable growth.

Workforce Insights & Business Analysis

  • Identify workforce trends, utilization patterns, and opportunities for process and resource optimization through quantitative analysis.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on workforce and operational variances to identify factors impacting organizational performance.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing workforce metrics, productivity measures, and operational KPIs using data-driven analysis.
  • Develop recommendations for enhancements to workforce metrics, reporting methodologies, and KPI frameworks that better align with business objectives, operational realities, and workforce capacity.
  • Partner with department leaders to review proposed workforce measures, validate assumptions, and provide analytical support for KPI development and refinement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of workforce initiatives and operational programs through trend analysis and performance reporting.
  • Present analytical findings, strategic insights, and business recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

Reporting Systems & Analytics Optimization

  • Continuously improve reporting methodologies, dashboard functionality, and analytical processes.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Operations teams to enhance reporting capabilities and reporting automation.
  • Develop standardized reporting metrics, definitions, and data governance practices that promote organizational consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to strengthen workforce analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred but not required.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in workforce analytics, business intelligence, operational reporting, workforce planning, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing business trends, forecasting workforce needs, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience within a personal injury law firm, legal services organization, or other professional services environment is preferred and considered an advantage.

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced proficiency in Time Doctor, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience with dashboard development, reporting automation, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.

Leadership & Communication

  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and business communication skills.
  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders.
