We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ORMB Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Oracle Utilities solutions, developing customizations, and integrating enterprise applications while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and other Oracle Utilities products such as CC&B, C2M, and Oracle MDM.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and customize solutions using OUAF, including Batch Programs, Business Services, Algorithms, Change Handlers, Plug-in Framework, and Groovy.
- Develop complex 4GL components, including Service Scripts, BPA Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Configuration Tools.
- Design and implement integrations using XAI, IWS (Inbound Web Services), REST/XML, and file-based interfaces.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries against the ORMB/CC&B data model to support business requirements and performance optimization.
- Work closely with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality Oracle Utilities solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 9 years of experience in Oracle Utilities application development, with strong expertise in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
- Hands-on experience with OUAF, including Batch Programs, Business Services, Algorithms, Change Handlers, Groovy, and Plug-in Framework.
- Experience developing 4GL scripts, including Service Scripts, BPA Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, UI Maps, and Zones.
- Strong knowledge of ORMB technical architecture, including Web Application Server, Business Application Server, and Database Server.
- Experience integrating Oracle Utilities applications using XAI, IWS, REST APIs, XML, and file-based interfaces.
- Strong SQL skills with experience working on the ORMB/CC&B data model.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of ORMB or CC&B.
- Functional understanding of Billing, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Pricing, Payments & Collections, and Revenue Management processes is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle CC&B, Oracle C2M, or Oracle MDM.
- Exposure to project management and solution architecture practices.
- Oracle Utilities or related technical certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience working in customer-facing implementation or consulting engagements
