WizyVision is a B2B SaaS platform for frontline and field operations. Our customers use our mobile and web apps to capture photos, forms, barcodes, QR codes, inspections, field evidence, and operational data in real-world environments.
We support workflows in logistics, field service, inspections, proof of work, lost and found, and enterprise operations. Many of these workflows happen on mobile devices, with unstable connectivity, offline usage, high-volume capture, and customer-specific rules.
We are strengthening our QA practice as our product, customer workflows, and AI-assisted software development process continue to grow.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who can help us build a stronger, more modern quality practice.
This is not just a testing role. We need someone who can help define what “correct” means, challenge unclear requirements, improve automation, strengthen non-functional coverage, track meaningful quality metrics, and help monitor deployed services.
AI tools are now part of how we build software. That creates speed, but also new quality risks. We need someone who can use AI to improve QA work while still applying strong human judgment.
What You’ll Do
- Own and improve QA strategy across product development, regression testing, release validation, and production support.
- Build and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, API, backend, and end-to-end workflows.
- Test real WizyVision workflows, including photo capture, form submission, barcode/QR scanning, OCR/extraction, case/action creation, sync, and reporting.
- Strengthen non-functional testing coverage across performance, reliability, scalability, usability, data integrity, resilience, and observability.
- Define and track useful quality metrics such as escaped defects, regression failure rate, flaky test rate, defect aging, automation coverage, release readiness, incident recurrence, and production defect trends.
- Use logs, dashboards, alerts, support tickets, and production signals to help monitor deployed services and investigate issues.
- Turn production bugs and incidents into better regression coverage, monitoring, and process improvements.
- Use AI tools to support test planning, edge case discovery, test generation, regression analysis, and QA documentation.
- Review AI-generated tests and outputs so they create real confidence, not false confidence.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and help raise the team’s QA maturity.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, quality engineering, QA automation, or a similar role.
- Experience owning senior-level test planning or QA strategy for a real product.
- Strong experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Good understanding of regression testing, exploratory testing, release validation, and risk-based testing.
- Understanding of non-functional testing, especially performance, reliability, scalability, usability, data integrity, and resilience.
- Ability to define, track, and explain practical quality metrics.
- Comfort using logs, monitoring tools, dashboards, or production signals to investigate issues.
- Ability to write clear test plans, test cases, bug reports, QA summaries, and release risk assessments.
- Comfortable working directly with developers and product managers early in the development process.
- Willingness to use AI tools as part of modern QA work without blindly trusting their output.
Technical Experience
Experience with several of the following is preferred:
- Web and mobile testing
- Android and/or Flutter testing
- API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Detox, or similar
- JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar scripting/programming
- CI/CD testing workflows
- SQL or database validation
- Logs, monitoring, alerting, or observability tools
- Git and Jira or similar tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with offline-first or sync-heavy mobile systems.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms, workflow builders, or enterprise applications.
- Experience testing computer vision, OCR, AI extraction, LLM-based features, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience with production incidents, customer escalations, or support-driven product issues.
- Experience helping teams move from manual QA toward stronger automation.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 3 months, you understand WizyVision’s key workflows, identify the highest-risk QA gaps, improve test planning and release readiness, and start strengthening automation and quality metrics.
In the first 6 months, our regression strategy is stronger, critical workflows have more reliable coverage, non-functional risks are better tested, production issues are turned into durable improvements, and Product and Engineering trust the QA signal.
