The Opportunity

We're hiring a Creative Lead to own end-to-end creative strategy and execution across a portfolio of DTC clients at a fast-growing performance marketing agency specializing in direct response advertising — driving copywriting, brief development, content creator management, and data-informed creative iteration to produce high-converting campaigns across paid social and beyond.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Creative Strategy & Client Management: Own day-to-day creative strategy and execution for a portfolio of clients; prepare and present weekly creative updates in client meetings; ensure creative concepts and strategies meet individual brand objectives and visual identity standards across all digital touchpoints.
  • Copywriting & Brief Development: Write copy and develop briefs optimized for direct response — including ads, landing pages, and shooting briefs — and write scripts and briefs for shoots spanning remote content creators to UGC and hook shoots; this is the most critical function of the role.
  • Performance Analysis: Track creative performance in Meta Ads Manager and Atria; interpret data and translate insights into actionable creative decisions around focus angles, personas, and formats to continuously improve campaign results.
  • Content Creator Management: Ship briefs to content creators via marketplaces and direct relationships; manage end-to-end facilitation of creator briefing, product shipping logistics, and content review to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Team Direction & Collaboration: Provide feedback and guidance to a team of designers and marketers to produce compelling, brand-consistent content; collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, developers, and marketers to ensure quality and consistency across the client portfolio.
  • AI-Assisted Production: Use AI tools — including ChatGPT for copy, Gemini and Veo 3 for video and image generation, and Figma or Canva for ad and organic content mockups — to accelerate creative output and repurpose existing assets at scale.


What You Bring

  • Creative Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Creative Director or in a similar role, with a proven track record developing high-converting creatives for paid campaigns across multiple brands simultaneously.
  • Copywriting & Brief Development: Demonstrated experience writing direct response copy and developing executable creative briefs; able to produce clear, prescriptive direction that designers and editors can act on immediately.
  • Performance Marketing: Proven experience in social media performance marketing; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret creative data and transform insights into strategy.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; understands and speaks the languages of marketing and can confidently champion brand voice and visual identity across clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Education & Attention to Detail: Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, graphic design, visual communication, or a related field; keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and usability across all creative deliverables.


Bonus Points if:

  • You have 1+ years of experience as a Creative Director, Creative Producer, or Creative Strategist in an e-commerce or direct response marketing environment
  • You have experience analyzing paid social creative performance data
  • You have a background in consumer research and insights
  • You're proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, or Sketch
