F5 Global Talent is hiring a Canopy Estimator / Takeoff Specialist who can read construction drawings, perform accurate takeoffs, and turn the scope into a clean, defensible quote.
This is a full U.S. shift role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized under deadline pressure, and comfortable working with plan sets, bid packages, RFIs, addenda, and customer markups.
What You’ll Do
- Review construction plans, bid packages, RFIs, addenda, and customer markups
- Perform canopy takeoffs, including dimensions, quantities, supports, lighting, drainage, finishes, and installation scope
- Prepare accurate quotes based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Identify missing information, unclear scope, assumptions, and potential bid risks
- Handle quote revisions, bid forms, and updated drawings on tight deadlines
- Coordinate with sales, project managers, customers, and internal teams
- Keep takeoff notes, assumptions, and quote details clear and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on construction estimating or takeoff experience
- Confidence reading architectural and structural drawings
- Ability to quantify materials, dimensions, and installation scope from plan sets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently under bid deadlines
- Organized approach to tracking revisions, assumptions, and missing information
- Clear written and spoken English
- Availability to work a full U.S. shift
Nice to Have
- Experience with canopies, awnings, architectural metals, storefronts, or signage
- CAD or shop drawing ability
- Experience preparing quotes for U.S. construction projects
- Familiarity with bid forms, addenda, RFIs, and customer markups

This is a hands-on estimating and takeoff role. We are looking for someone who can read drawings carefully, quantify scope accurately, flag missing information, and prepare quotes that can hold up under real bid pressure.
