About the Role


We are looking for a Customer Support Representative to become the primary point of contact for our customers during overnight operations. We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused professional to provide overnight support for our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will communicate with customers, carriers, and internal team members to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and ensure freight moves smoothly across the U.S.–Canada border. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Shift: Night Shift (U.S. Time)


Responsibilities


  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Provide shipment status updates and estimated delivery times
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams regarding shipment progress
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Monitor active shipments and identify potential delays
  • Escalate urgent transportation issues when necessary
  • Maintain accurate customer records and shipment notes
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure timely deliveries
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple conversations


Qualifications


  • Required
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced situations
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email)


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, dispatch, or supply chain
  • Experience using CRM or transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Familiarity with shipment tracking and customer support software
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound communications
