About The Role
Join a technology and transformation team focused on delivering better outcomes for customers through agile ways of working. As Program Governance Lead, you will guide cross-functional squads to deliver consistent, high-quality results. You will work with Product Owners, leaders, and stakeholders to plan delivery, remove barriers, and improve performance. This role blends delivery leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and continuously improve program governance, executive reporting (Steerco), and communications across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver high-quality reporting and insights for executive leadership, Steering Committees, and Board stakeholders.
- Partner with senior leaders and delivery teams to transform complex technical, delivery, and business information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance governance frameworks, reporting standards, decision-making processes, and program OKR management.
- Ensure compliance with governance policies, organisational standards, records management requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Support integrated program planning, cross-program dependency management, and the identification, escalation, and reporting of key risks and issues.
- Drive continuous improvement, audit readiness, and process automation while successfully managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in PMO governance, reporting, and program delivery within large-scale transformation programs, with a practical understanding of delivery execution.
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality executive reporting (Steerco), governance packs, and communications for senior leadership and Board-level audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience navigating complex environments and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated expertise in governance, compliance, risk management, and reporting within major project and transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights and compelling executive narratives.
- Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and aptitude for identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and drawing out meaningful business insights.
- Experience managing performance measures, dashboards, OKRs, governance frameworks, reporting tools, and program planning processes to support delivery outcomes.
