Job Description
As the SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a crucial role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of SAP technical solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring a team of consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration with functional and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP consultants, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP technical solutions, focusing on SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure the quality and performance of SAP technical implementations, conducting thorough testing and optimization.
- Provide technical expertise and support during SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving innovation and best practices within the team.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring knowledge transfer and knowledge management.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions with other systems.
- Provide pre-sales support, including solution demonstrations and technical proposal development.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven track record of leading and managing SAP ABAP teams, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including HANA database and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA are an added advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
