Our client seeks an Electrical Supervisor for FIFO work in the Pilbara. On offer is an 8 & 6 roster with the potential of ongoing work. 12 hours paid daily.
Scope Of Works
The bulk of the work will be around the Port Hedland area doing BHP Housing maintenance
- Camp Maintenance for various camps
- Electrical installation and maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs on Electrical Systems
- Following Isolation Procedures
- Switchboard modifications
- Lighting and security upgrades
- GPO and equipment installations
- Cable tray and Conduit installations
- Testing and Commissioning of new installations
- Completion of compliance paperwork and test records,
About the Role:
- Supervising a team of Electrical Tradesmen and Trades Assistants
- Ensuring a safe work environment is maintained
- Engaging with stakeholders and management
- Preparing the daily job lists and allocating tasks
- Assisting with staff recruitment
- Assisting with quotations and budgets
- Preparing reports as required
About you:
- Supervisory experience in the Electrical trade
- Trade background with a WA Electrical licence
- BHP inductions will be favourable
- WP High Risk ideal
- LVR and CPR
- S26 - Mandatory
- Have the ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol testing
- Excellent English and communication skills — written, oral (phone) and in-person — with the confidence to sell a project to clients.
