Medical Billing Specialist
Job Summary
We are currently ramping up for the Medical Billing Specialist role. This position requires hands-on experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months relevant experience in medical billing or related RCM functions. Please note that applicants without prior RCM experience will not be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end medical billing processes
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims (primary & secondary)
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims
- Post payments and reconcile EOBs/ERAs
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient and billing records
- Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Proven experience in medical billing, claims processing, or AR follow-up
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding (basic to intermediate level)
- Knowledge of US healthcare billing processes and insurance payers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and documentation skills

- Experience with medical billing software or EMR systems
- Prior work with US healthcare providers or billing companies
