Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend architecture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance web applications and collaborating closely with backend teams using FastAPI-based services. You will play a key role in designing reusable components, optimizing application performance, and driving best practices across the frontend codebase.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components using modern React patterns.
- Develop and manage application state using Redux (Redux Toolkit preferred).
- Create and maintain reusable custom React Hooks to improve code quality and reduce duplication.
- Integrate frontend applications with FastAPI-based REST APIs.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, load times, and rendering efficiency for large-scale applications.
- Design frontend architecture that supports scalability, maintainability, and future growth.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering excellence.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Excellent knowledge of Redux/Redux Toolkit for state management.
- Extensive experience creating and maintaining custom React Hooks.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with FastAPI REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Deep understanding of React performance optimization techniques, including memoization, lazy loading, code splitting, and virtual rendering.
- Experience with scalable frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, and modular application design.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Next.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience with Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or similar component libraries.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
- Understanding of frontend security best practices and web accessibility (WCAG).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
