Job Description

I/ Job Description

  • Update schedules, pricing, and operational costs
    • Prepare and update vessel schedules, purchase rates, and related operational costs accurately and on time for Sales, Documentation, Accounting, and Management teams.
  • Support market and competitor pricing analysis
    • Collect and summarize market and competitor pricing information regularly to support pricing competitiveness and purchasing cost evaluation.
  • Handle documentation and operational coordination
    • Prepare and verify shipping documents, cargo information, authorization letters, and related operational data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with customers, agents, and subcontractors
    • Communicate schedule updates, pricing changes, and operational information clearly and promptly to related parties.
  • Support receivables and accounting coordination
    • Assist in checking debit notes, monitoring receivables, and coordinating with Accounting regarding payment and operational issues.
  • Support sales administration activities
    • Work closely with Sales and other departments to support customer requests and ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Prepare operational and cost reports
    • Consolidate shipment volume, revenue, cost, and operational data; support periodic reporting for management.
  • Perform other assigned tasks
    • Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors and management.
II/ Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or above

Preferred Majors: Economics, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Transportation, or related fields

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in logistics, forwarding, shipping, or sales administration
  • Experience in pricing or operations support is preferred

Languages

  • English communication skills required
  • Japanese is an advantage

IT Skills

  • Good command of MS Office (especially Excel)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of forwarding/logistics operations and customer service
  • Basic knowledge of customs procedures is preferred
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Careful, responsible, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
