To keep up with increasing demand, we’re looking for a driven Ecommerce Coordinator to manage our daily digital operations, strengthen our online presence, and support the continued growth of our ecommerce business.

The Role

The Ecommerce Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and execution of the ecommerce experience across a Shopify store.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone early in their ecommerce career who has a strong foundation in Shopify, exceptional attention to detail, and an interest in the 4x4 or automotive industry. You will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, suppliers, developers, designers, and external partners to ensure the online store operates efficiently and delivers a high-performing customer experience.

The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to professionally answer phone calls.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Shopify Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Shopify store, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized.
  • Maintain product listings, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, imagery, and metadata.
  • Manage collections, navigation, filters, and on-site search functionality.
  • Support SEO best practices across product and category pages.
  • Liaise with the full-time Shopify developer regarding website updates and enhancements.
  • Work closely with the in-house designer, from creative briefs through product creation and implementation.

Product & Inventory Coordination

  • Assist with product uploads, updates, and launches in line with go-to-market timelines.
  • Ensure all SKUs are configured accurately, including variants, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain accurate inventory records and product data.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, and data quality issues.

EDM & Marketing Support

  • Assist in coordinating and briefing EDM campaigns using Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign execution, promotions, and product launches.
  • Support website content updates aligned with marketing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events.

Dealer Network Support

  • Support the management and coordination of the dealer network from an ecommerce perspective.
  • Ensure dealer-related products, pricing, and information remain accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with communication and coordination between internal teams and external dealer partners.

Third-Party & Supplier Management

  • Liaise with third-party platforms, partners, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of ecommerce initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers and integrating their product data into the ecommerce platform.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders and business partners.

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor website performance using Shopify analytics and tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve website conversion rates, user experience, and overall site performance.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) of new website features, tools, and system updates.
  • Support the preparation of ecommerce performance reports, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 2–3 years of experience working with the Shopify platform.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce operations and online retail fundamentals.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and execution.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party partners and suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Desirable

  • Experience assisting with EDM campaigns using email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and ecommerce analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Experience working in a retail, automotive, or ecommerce-focused business environment.
  • Interest in or knowledge of the 4x4/off-road industry is highly regarded.
