Who You Are
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Content Creator with at least 2 years of experience producing engaging short-form video content. You have a strong eye for storytelling, understand what captures attention on social media, and can consistently deliver polished, professional content that resonates with audiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on content creation today and wants to grow into a Marketing Manager position over time. As you become familiar with the business, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater ownership of marketing initiatives and eventually help lead the marketing team.
Experience creating content for education-focused brands or audiences is a strong advantage.
What You'll Do
- Create and edit 10 high-quality short-form videos (under 1 minute) each week
- Develop engaging content primarily for Facebook, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
- Repurpose content across multiple social media platforms
- Ensure all videos maintain a polished, trustworthy, and professional brand image
- Optimize videos for audience retention and engagement
- Collaborate with leadership to develop content ideas and messaging
- Stay current with social media trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices
- Organize video assets and maintain an efficient content production workflow
- Assist with future expansion into YouTube and LinkedIn content strategies
- Learn the company's marketing strategy and gradually take on broader marketing responsibilities
- Support paid social media initiatives and eventually grow into managing Meta advertising campaigns
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of professional experience in video content creation and editing
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form social media content
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
- Excellent storytelling, visual design, and creative editing skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and produce consistent, high-quality output
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience creating content for education, coaching, or family-focused brands
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and paid social media campaigns
- Experience with content strategy and social media analytics
- Interest in growing into a marketing leadership role
- Experience managing creative projects or collaborating with marketing teams
