Job Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Associate to support consulting engagements that help organizations strengthen their cybersecurity governance, information security programs, and technology risk management. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build a career in cybersecurity consulting and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity consulting and technology risk engagements.
- Perform security assessments and IT control testing.
- Prepare workpapers, reports, and client deliverables.
- Assist in developing cybersecurity policies and governance documentation.
- Participate in client walkthroughs and project meetings.
- Identify security risks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, IT assurance, IT audit, technology risk, or IT consulting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance, or information security concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer
- ISO 22301 Certification
- Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- CompTIA Security+
- CPA is an advantage
