About The Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer – Snowflake (Associate) to join a managed services team supporting enterprise data platforms. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain scalable Snowflake-based data solutions while ensuring platform reliability and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality data engineering solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake.
- Build data ingestion processes utilizing Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
- Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, and warehouse optimization.
- Administer Snowflake databases, schemas, and secure data sharing while following governance best practices.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud storage solutions and orchestration tools.
- Monitor production environments, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support ongoing platform improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Analyze data engineering challenges and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
- Adhere to engineering standards, governance policies, and quality practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Snowflake SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowflake performance optimization.
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with orchestration tools and modern ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Experience with ETL solutions such as dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
