Job Summary
The
Food Systems & Technical Services Manager is responsible for establishing standardized production systems, technical documentation, and operational procedures that support consistent execution across commissary and restaurant operations. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product implementation and continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop standardized systems for food production and operational execution.
- Ensure recipes and production methods are commercially executable.
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), technical documentation, and product specifications.
- Lead Technical Assistants and SAP Support personnel.
- Partner with Engineering on workflow optimization and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with Training teams to support technology transfer and operational readiness.
- Ensure alignment with food safety and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
- Resolve operational and technical challenges through root cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in food manufacturing, R&D, or technical operations.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strong background in process standardization, documentation, and operational excellence.
- Experience in commissary, food manufacturing, or restaurant operations is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
