Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and diagnosing issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems and delivering effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. Collaboration with different teams is a key part of the daily routine to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement of the software environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve critical system issues promptly. - Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills. - Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency. - Document troubleshooting processes and share knowledge to support team learning and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Spring Boot. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and support processes. - Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex software issues in production environments. - Familiarity with integration of Spring Boot applications with various databases and external services. - Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes of problems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
