Senior Manual Quality Analyst / QA Analyst

📍 Location: Muntinlupa, Alabang
⏰ Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) | NIGHT SHIFT

Responsible for analyzing business requirement specifications and translating them into functional specifications and test cases. Ensures that software systems meet user requirements and comply with established quality standards through thorough testing and validation.

Evaluates and tests new or modified software applications, verifies system functionality, identifies defects, and ensures that system releases meet agreed requirements. Provides recommendations to improve QA processes and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into test cases and test scripts

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and Master Test Plans

• Create test effort estimations based on project requirements

• Maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)

• Prepare test data required for testing activities
  
  

• Execute system, integration, and regression testing

• Identify, document, and track software defects

• Replicate reported issues and validate defect fixes

• Ensure system functionality meets business and user requirements

• Prepare Test Summary Reports and Acceptance Test Certificates
  
  

• Ensure compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards

• Apply appropriate test design techniques and QA methodologies

• Review test cases and test reports prepared by team members

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

• Provide recommendations to improve product quality and system performance
  
  

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams

• Support and mentor junior QA team members

• Assist in leading testing activities and resolving testing issues

• Collaborate with Automation QA teams to initiate or maintain automated testing when applicable
  
  

• Document testing activities and results

• Prepare and submit required QA reports and testing documentation

• Provide clear and detailed defect reports
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing

• Strong experience in writing test cases and test scripts

• Experience creating Master Test Plans

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and test design techniques

• Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Waterfall and Agile

• Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  
  

• ISTQB Certification

• Experience with QA testing tools and test management systems

• Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or financial systems

• Experience working in different system development environments

• Experience leading or mentoring QA team members

• Experience supporting automation testing initiatives
