About The Role
We are building a custom ShipHero CMS and operational tooling layer to manage warehouse operations, order flows, fulfillment exceptions, inventory visibility, and internal operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, production-grade internal systems tightly integrated with ShipHero and Shopify.
You will own both frontend and backend development and help design intuitive interfaces that support operations, logistics, and engineering teams in their day-to-day workflows.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js, building clean, responsive, and high-performance operational dashboards.
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement core CMS modules including order & fulfillment management, shipment tracking, inventory reconciliation, and operational workflows.
- Integrate with external and internal systems such as ShipHero APIs, Shopify, and internal platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
- Develop real-time features like order status updates and fulfillment tracking using WebSockets or Socket.IO.
- Implement secure authentication, session management, and role-based access control (RBAC) for operational and admin users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, Docker, and cloud infrastructure for smooth deployments.

Who You Are
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience using React.js and Node.js (Express).
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) skills and working knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of databases and writing optimized queries.
- Familiarity with authentication flows and security best practices.
- Experience building real-time systems or event-driven features.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end features.Prior experience with ShipHero, WMS, OMS, or logistics platforms.
- Experience with Shopify integrations and order/inventory workflows.xperience with Python for scripting, automation, or background jobs.
- Understanding of microservices, logging/monitoring, and job queues.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with non-technical stakeholders.
