Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant – (₱35K | WFH | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City | Work From Home | 9:00 PM–6:00 AM | Monday–Friday


You own the integrity of the Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring every vendor payment and expense is coded with surgical precision and processed within strict timelines. Your work directly supports the company’s financial health by maintaining a clean chart of accounts and eliminating errors in transaction handling through disciplined use of client systems like Aspire.

This is a high-accuracy delivery role. You operate within defined AP workflows, manage high-volume expense classifications, and are trusted to act as the final line of defense against duplicate entries or coding errors. Best suited for accounting professionals who thrive in structured environments, value technical rigor, and prefer clear ownership over generalist tasks.


You’re Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • 2–4 years of experience focused on Accounts Payable or specialized accounting functions.
  • Hands-on responsibility for expense coding, account classification, and AP reconciliation.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Willingness to work a permanent night shift (PH Time) and comply with a 100% remote work setup.


Strong Signals

  • Experience using the Aspire platform for invoice management and AP workflows.
  • Previous experience supporting month-end closing activities including accruals.
  • Proven track record in a BPO or offshore delivery context.


Responsibility Pillars

Expense Classification & Accuracy You own the integrity of the general ledger—ensuring every cent is coded correctly to prevent downstream financial reporting errors.

  • Review, verify, and code invoices and credit card transactions based on the chart of accounts.
  • Analyze account descriptions to ensure alignment with company coding standards.
  • Monitor and prevent duplicate entries, double bookings, and classification errors.


AP Workflow Management You own the movement of funds—ensuring all vendor obligations are met on time and records remain audit-ready.

  • Utilize Aspire and QuickBooks to process invoices and manage daily AP workflows.
  • Execute timely payments while maintaining organized digital records of all transactions.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of vendor statements and AP sub-ledgers.


Discrepancy Resolution & Audit You own the clarity of the AP cycle—bridging the gap between internal stakeholders and financial records.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify discrepancies and resolve invoice issues.
  • Support month-end closing activities, specifically managing AP accruals and reporting.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to increase efficiency in transaction handling.
