We are responsible for planning, designing, building, operating, improving, and governing global wired and wireless network infrastructure across our cloud, data centers, business locations, and offices. We also perform all engineering activities and related work necessary to deliver the best network experience for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, build, operate, and optimize our network infrastructure, and design and implement related automation and monitoring systems. You will also use various automation tools and monitoring solutions to proactively prevent and resolve issues.
■ Network Design, Deployment, and Operations
- Designing and implementing optimal network and security environments based on business requirements
- Designing, deploying, and operating networks for Private Cloud and AI infrastructure
- Designing, deploying, and operating physical and virtual networks to support hybrid/multi‑cloud architectures
- Designing, deploying, and operating data center networks
- Designing, deploying, operating, and improving inter‑data‑center and branch‑to‑center network connectivity
■ Network Automation and Monitoring
- Developing automation scripts and tools, and integration with various systems
- Developing and operating open‑source–based monitoring systems
- Implementating and operating monitoring systems using cloud‑native tools
- Integrating various monitoring tools and execution of real‑time alerting and log analysis
- Collecting and analyzing network performance data to derive optimization strategies
■ Work Management and Support
- Analyzing operational processes, and proposing/planning improvement measures
- Creating and managing technical documentation (network configurations and changes, automation tool manuals, monitoring system documentation)
- Supporting and training for network users (customers)
- Enforcing network security policies and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network design, deployment, operations, process management, and systemization
- Those who have deep understanding of network devices (e.g., Cisco, Arista) as well as routing protocols and TCP/IP
- Those who have extensive knowledge and experience with public cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Those who majored in IT‑related fields (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science)
- Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
- Those who have cloud‑related certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Those who have network‑related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, etc.)
- Experience operating and troubleshooting networks in large-scale systems with tens of thousands or more of devices
- Experience in operating global networks
- Experience in operating private/public cloud environments
