Responsible for conducting macroeconomic research, data collection, and analysis to support investment strategy decisions for the companys in-house funds, 3rd party funds and segregated portfolios. This role involves monitoring economic indicators, analyzing market trends, and preparing reports to guide strategic investment initiatives and economic outlook assessments.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize macroeconomic and financial data from internal and external sources
- Assist in preparing research reports, charts, and presentations for investment strategy meetings
- Monitor global economic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical developments
- Maintain internal databases and dashboards used for economic and market analysis
- Support scenario analysis, forecasting, and back testing of investment strategies
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior analysts to align macroeconomic insights with portfolio positioning
Competency Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science or other related fields
Relevant Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in economic research, financial analysis, or investment-related roles
