Who You’ll Be Working With
If you have a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, and are analytical, technologically savvy, solutions and process-focused, then the Technology & Operations team may be for you!
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Contributing to the development and execution of a comprehensive capacity management strategy, encompassing provisioning, deployment, monitoring, optimization, security, and resource retirement.
- Planning and coordinating capacity management initiatives, including resource provisioning, application deployment, migration, and optimization.
- Collaborating with departments such as Development, Operations, Security, and Finance to align capacity initiatives with business goals, ensure compliance, and optimize resource utilization.
- Staying informed about emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in capacity management, and provide technical guidance to the team and stakeholders.
- Setting up and managing monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving capacity-related issues.
We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure management, and project management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud capacity management or equivalent role
- Strong background in infrastructure, network, and database management to ensure the efficient and effective operation of IT infrastructure. Experienced with Capacity and Automation tools
- Strong expertise in automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef), as well as CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI), and monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash), with familiarity in programming languages like Java, Go and others.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, particularly in operations, architecture, or networking, are considered a plus.
