About The Role
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for generating and facilitating sales for a company. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact; they initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls (outbound prospecting/cold calling) or emails.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales team.
- Create target prospects lists through data enrichment research.
- Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources.
- Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle.
- Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach, including executing targeted campaigns.
- Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful experience in a sales outreach/sales development role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting.
- Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.
- High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Hubspot CRM preferred.
This role is currently work from home but will likely become hybrid in the future where you will be required to work in our BCG offices 2-3 days per week. We look forward to your application.
