The Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to help design, build, and optimize RYZE’s digital ecosystem — from front-end experiences to back-end architecture. This role will focus on Shopify development, Vue.js, and custom API integrations that power our eCommerce growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You’ll work cross-functionally with product, growth, and creative teams to translate business needs into elegant, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on development role with the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a rapidly scaling CPG brand redefining how consumers experience wellness online.
What You’ll Do
Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain RYZE’s eCommerce infrastructure across Shopify, custom apps, and integrations.
- Build responsive, high-performance front-end experiences using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop secure and efficient back-end services in Node.js, Python, or similar frameworks.
- Create, maintain, and document RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support scalable data exchange between systems.
- Integrate third-party tools and platforms such as Klaviyo, Recharge, analytics suites, fulfillment systems, and payment gateways.
- Partner with marketing and design teams to deliver smooth, visually engaging user interfaces that maximize conversion and retention.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor site performance, loading speed, and core web vitals; implement continuous optimizations for stability and SEO.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly, ensuring high uptime and security standards.
- Implement tracking and data integrity solutions across the tech stack for accurate analytics and reporting.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Collaborate with Growth and CRO teams to build custom landing pages, UGC hubs, and A/B test environments for rapid experimentation.
- Translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide architectural recommendations for new platform features and future technical scalability.
- Stay current on emerging tech trends, Shopify APIs, and performance best practices to keep RYZE ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of full stack or eCommerce development experience, ideally in CPG, food/beverage, or wellness industries.
- Deep expertise with Shopify Plus, Liquid templating, and custom app development.
- Strong proficiency with Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing backend systems using Node.js, Python, or a similar modern language.
- Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, data structures, and microservice architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong grasp of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and integrating analytics and marketing tools.
- Understanding of SEO, site performance optimization, and conversion-focused web development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures (Shopify Hydrogen, Next.js, Nuxt).
- Experience with Klaviyo, Recharge, or other Shopify ecosystem apps.
- Previous experience in a startup or DTC brand environment.
- Interest in health, wellness, or functional food products.
