POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Finance Manager (Philippines-based) to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting. Candidates should have experience working with companies handling revenues of $15M or greater. This role is controller-track and hands-on, responsible for NetSuite financial accuracy, accrual accounting, inventory accounting, and close discipline as we scale.
OBJECTIVES
Own month-end close in NetSuite (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Lead and maintain cash → accrual accounting in NetSuite
Manage inventory accounting (COGS, valuation, adjustments, landed cost concepts)
Maintain and optimize Chart of Accounts, classes, locations, and subsidiaries
Ensure GAAP-compliant financials and support annual US tax filings
Implement and document Finance SOPs and internal controls
Partner with leadership on cost control and margin visibility
Lead NetSuite financials with full ownership of COA, revenue recognition, and multi-location accounting processes and streamlined e-commerce reconciliation
COMPETENCIES
Familiar with “Profit First” Methodology
Familiar with analytics tools such as Netsuite analytics warehouse or Hyperion.
Present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.
Possess expert knowledge of GAAP principles
5+ years of experience with financial planning and strategy
Expert in problem-solving and can dig into complex and ambiguous data sets to provide accurate reports
Ability to understand and create complex financial forecasts and models
Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows)
Knowledgeable with the following platforms:
Oracle Netsuite, SAPOne or similar
Woocommerce, eBay, Paypal
Advanced to expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
CPA license is an advantage but not required
Proven experience managing a financial team in a US-based product company with revenues greater than 15M USD
6+ years of work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Finance Manager
Prior work with US-based product or manufacturing companies
