Job Description
Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of security capabilities. Builds reusable modules and self-service tooling to make it easier for developers and project teams to integrate and comply with security requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solutioning and implementation of cybersecurity tools and services.
- Create modular designs and reusable components for secure consumption.
- Develop APIs and pipelines for automated security enforcement.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide design decisions.
- Transition stable, optimized capabilities to SREs with documentation and training.
KPIs
- % of capabilities delivered as secure-by-default modules.
- % adoption of reusable security components.
- Reduction in onboarding time for new teams.
- Number of capabilities transitioned to SRE with full documentation.
Top 3-5 Deliverables
- Reference implementations and modular templates
- APIs and automation pipelines
- Design documentation and threat models
- Automated tests or validations
- Operational guides for SRE
Requirements
- 2–4 years in cybersecurity or systems engineering
- Hands-on deployment of cybersecurity tools
- Basic scripting or automation exposure
- Cloud experience preferred
Certifications/ Licenses
- AWS SysOps Associate
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate
- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect/GCP Professional DevOps Engineer
- Terraform Certified
