Keep services running. Solve problems in real time. Make a direct impact on people’s lives.
The Opportunity at a Glance
Join a purpose-driven organization in the
disability and community care sector, supporting individuals to live independently through high-quality, person-centered services.
This role sits at the heart of operations—
ensuring the right support workers are matched to the right clients at the right time. You’ll manage rostering, coordinate schedules, and respond to real-time changes in a fast-paced environment.
This is ideal for someone who thrives in
high-volume coordination, problem-solving, and structured operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage and maintain forward rosters (typically 2 weeks in advance) while handling daily adjustments
- Coordinate staff allocation across multiple clients and programs
- Handle real-time changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage issues
- Ensure all rostering updates, incidents, and changes are accurately documented in the system
- Communicate roster updates clearly with support workers, clients, and internal teams
- Monitor workforce capacity, identify gaps, and support recruitment alignment
- Maintain accurate data across systems including client details, staff availability, and scheduling records
- Support onboarding coordination for new clients and staff
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, service requirements, and documentation standards
- Assist with after-hours rostering coordination (future rotational requirement) if implemented
What We’re Looking For - You’re the Perfect Fit if You:
- Have 3-5+ years of experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
- Have managed high-volume rosters (multiple staff and clients simultaneously)
- Have hands-on experience with rostering or workforce management systems (Visual Care is a plus, not required)
- Are highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Can confidently handle last-minute changes and high-pressure situations
- Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Are comfortable coordinating via phone, email, and messaging platforms
- Are proactive, solutions-focused, and able to think on your feet
- Are open to potential future rotational after-hours work
What Sets You Apart - You’ll Shine Even Brighter With:
- Experience in NDIS, disability services, aged care, or healthcare environments
- Exposure to Visual Care or similar rostering platforms
- Experience handling complex or high-volume rostering environments
