Genie Technologies is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience in React and at least two years working with Next.js, preferably using the App Router. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and component-driven design. This role requires proficiency in UI component systems such as shadcn/ui or Radix UI and familiarity with deploying applications on Vercel and managing CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will work closely with a talented team of three, contributing to innovative, accessible, and high-performance web applications that leverage AI-generative UI technologies and advanced animation techniques. The position demands a thorough understanding of accessibility standards following WCAG guidelines and practical experience with UI animation libraries like Framer Motion. The engineer will collaborate on emergent platform workflows and enhance user interfaces by integrating modern design systems and scalable architectures. This role is critical in creating fluid, interactive experiences on Genie Technologies' digital products, optimizing both aesthetics and functionality while ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality frontend applications using React and Next.js with a focus on the App Router architecture.
- Implement robust TypeScript codebases while applying expert-level knowledge of TailwindCSS for consistent, efficient styling.
- Design and build reusable UI components using shadcn/ui or Radix UI component systems, ensuring modularity and scalability across projects.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and product teams to integrate APIs and third-party services efficiently.
- Deploy and manage applications on the Vercel platform, actively maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards (WCAG) through thoughtful implementation and regular auditing.
- Leverage animation libraries such as Framer Motion to create smooth, engaging user experiences and dynamic interface elements.
- Work with AI-generative UI frameworks such as v0.app to develop innovative features that enhance user interaction.
- Contribute to emergent platform workflows by identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of three frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Participate actively in design discussions, code reviews, and team meetings to drive best practices and technical excellence.
- Continuously research and adopt new frontend technologies and frameworks to keep Genie Technologies at the forefront of software development.
