You own the integrity of the supply chain, ensuring that over 60 raw material and packaging suppliers remain compliant with rigorous standards, including Prop 65 for herbal ingredients. Your work follows established monthly review cycles where you troubleshoot non-compliance, track purchase orders, and analyze vendor lead times to prevent operational delays. You are not a reactive buyer; you operate within defined scopes to negotiate contracts, manage spend, and source new partners to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance. This role is best suited for professionals who thrive in high-accountability environments, value measurable accuracy, and prefer clear, documented performance standards.

You’re Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing, specifically managing raw materials and packaging.
• Tools/Outputs: Proven ability to manage purchase orders, track lead times, and conduct vendor performance reviews using Excel or ERP systems.
• Context: Previous exposure to supplier compliance (such as Prop 65), contract negotiation, and international vendor management.
• Structural Constraints: Reliable home office setup for permanent night shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and commitment to a remote delivery model

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business.
• Experience sourcing new raw material suppliers in the health, wellness, or herbal industry.
• History of negotiating pricing and managing complex contract terms with measurable savings.

Responsibility Pillars

Supplier Compliance & Integrity You own the compliance heartbeat of the raw material inventory—ensuring every ingredient meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor Prop 65 compliance for herbal raw ingredients.
• Troubleshoot non-compliance issues by individual purchase order.

Vendor & Performance Management You lead the monthly analysis of supply chain health to ensure predictability and reliability in delivery schedules.

• Conduct monthly vendor performance reviews and lead time analysis.
• Track POs for packaging and label suppliers to ensure adherence to schedules.

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation You own the procurement strategy—identifying new partners and securing terms that protect the organization’s fiscal interests.

• Source new ingredient and packaging suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Manage total spend and monitor market price increases.
